About TWISA
TWISA was registered and established on August 1st, 2020 under Tai Nei She Zi No. 1090047220 approved by the Minister of Interior. Most of the members of the Association are domestic independent researchers and developers, agents, and professional system integrators of cybersecurity. TWISA is committed to maintaining close contact with the industry in order to arrive at a consensus expeditiously, creating value by integrating all members’ products and services, protecting Taiwan's cybersecurity industry, assisting members to access international marketing and market development. We also set up five major committees based on Industry, Talent, Policy, Regulation, and Market. The goal of the TWISA is to solidify the cooperation among industries, governments, and academia so as to establish a sustainable cybersecurity ecosystem with trusted brands in Taiwan and achieve the greatest benefits to industries.
In response to the demand for digital transformation and intelligence driven by technologies such as 5G, AIoT, etc., the Association also provides our members opportunities to exchange experiences and ideas with every major industry in diversified ways; through listening to feedback and needs from all walks of life, we aim to achieve constant improvement and optimization of technology and service in the cybersecurity industry. Meanwhile, with deep understanding of cybersecurity partners’ respective advantages and complementarity, by facilitating closer sharing and cooperation among each other, innovative and practical service solutions can be inspired. Under the domestic policy-driven trend toward “facilitation of industry cybersecurity,” we wish to become one of the driving forces behind domestic “cybersecurity industrialization” so as to stabilize the irreplaceability of Taiwan’s cybersecurity industry in the international cybersecurity field.

Dear Members of the Taiwan Information Security Association (TWISA)
The global cybersecurity landscape is entering an era of profound change. Geopolitical conflicts, supply chain restructuring, accelerated digital transformation, the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and quantum computing, along with shifts in trade policy and budget constraints, have made cybersecurity issues more complex than ever. These forces present both new challenges and vital tests for Taiwan’s cybersecurity industry, which has long faced limited resources, talent shortages, and the constant pressure to align with fast-evolving international standards.
However, with challenges come opportunities. Emerging technologies are reshaping business models and redefining the dynamics of cyber offense and defense. Thanks to the joint efforts of government and industry, Taiwan’s cybersecurity sector continues to grow: its market value reached NTD 81 billion in 2024 and is projected to exceed NTD 100 billion by 2026. This momentum reflects global trends, as the worldwide cybersecurity market is expected to reach USD 424.1 billion by 2030, with a CAGR of 12.63%. Taiwanese cybersecurity firms are growing stronger in fields such as AI security, cloud security, post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and Zero Trust, as well as in security assessment and consulting services. Concurrently, the number of IPO cybersecurity companies continues to rise, and M&A activities and cross-domain collaborations are becoming more active, indicating that Taiwan’s cybersecurity industry is advancing towards internationalization and scale.
Over the past years, TWISA has played an active role in supporting members: opening doors to international exhibitions, advancing talent development and regulatory research, and engaging government through policy advocacy. With the dedication of past chairman, board members, and all our partners, TWISA has grown into the leading platform for industry collaboration, and has showcased Taiwan’s innovation capacity to the world.
Looking ahead, TWISA will build on our current success and focus on five priorities with all our partners:
- Talent cultivation and leadership transition – Strengthening academia-industry partnerships to nurture the next generation of cybersecurity leaders with global vision and managerial capabilities.
- Value enhancement and competitiveness – Supporting members in adopting emerging technologies, aligning solutions with international standards, and increasing the value of Taiwan’s cybersecurity offerings.
- Cross-sector collaboration – Building a trusted, mutually beneficial ecosystem by partnering with diverse industries, making cybersecurity a solid foundation for Taiwan’s digital transformation.
- Policy advocacy – Acting as a bridge between industry and government to promote improved regulations, procurement mechanisms, and sustained market demand.
- Global expansion – Integrating resources to guide members in international exhibitions, matchmaking, and trade missions, bringing Taiwan’s high-quality cybersecurity products and services to the global stage.
Taiwan’s cybersecurity industry is marked by strong talent and technical expertise, giving us a unique advantage. Yet the journey toward greater autonomy and global recognition remains challenging. By upholding a spirit of solidarity and mutual growth, we can accelerate development at home while elevating Taiwan’s influence worldwide.
Finally, I extend my sincere gratitude to all board members, members, government agencies, and industry leaders for their continued support. Again and together, let us build a more robust, secure, and influential new future for Taiwan's cybersecurity industry.
Sincerely,
Chairman, Taiwan Information Security Association (TWISA)
